Welcome to GyanRank ("Platform"). By creating an account, registering an institute, downloading our Android Application, or accessing our online examination platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

Section 1

User Account Terms & Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate, verified, and complete registration details. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, passwords, and security OTP codes.

Institute Admins

Authorized to create exams, manage batches, configure grading rubrics, and view institute-wide analytics.

Teachers & Staff

Authorized to upload questions, grade subjective responses, schedule mock tests, and track student growth.

Students

Access examination rooms, submit CBT & OMR responses, review answer explanations, and track ranks.

Section 2

SaaS Subscriptions & Payment Terms

GyanRank provides cloud software-as-a-service (SaaS) for educational coaching institutes. Key billing and subscription provisions include:

Subscription Plans: Institutes can subscribe on a monthly (₹999/month) or annual (₹9,999/year) billing cycle via authorized payment partners (Razorpay).
7-Day Free Trial: Newly registered institutes receive a 7-day unrestricted trial to evaluate the platform without advance payment.
Zero Student Cost: Students enrolled under an institute access GyanRank 100% free of charge. No student fee is ever collected by GyanRank.
Taxes: All SaaS subscription fees are quoted exclusive of applicable GST unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Section 3

Exam Code of Conduct & Anti-Cheating

Examination integrity is fundamental to GyanRank's mission. By taking exams on the platform, students agree to the following code of conduct:

Tab-Switching & Background Apps: Switching tabs, minimizing the test window, or launching external applications during a live CBT exam is strictly tracked and logged.
Single Device Session: Simultaneous logins across multiple devices during an ongoing exam session are forbidden and will terminate the active test session.
Admin Authority: Coaching institute administrators reserve the absolute right to cancel attempts, deduct marks, or disqualify candidates caught engaging in malpractice.

Section 4

Intellectual Property Rights

Platform Ownership: All software code, proprietary ranking algorithms, visual designs, logos, mobile applications, and trademarks belong exclusively to GyanRank.

Institute Content Ownership: Question papers, solutions, study PDFs, mock tests, and branding logos uploaded by coaching institutes remain the exclusive intellectual property of the respective institute. GyanRank claims no ownership rights over user-uploaded instructional content.

Section 5

Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

GyanRank provides an automated assessment and ranking platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis:

We are not liable for internet drops, local hardware malfunctions, power failures, or ISP latency occurring at the test-taker's premises.
GyanRank is not liable for disputes between coaching institutes, parents, and students regarding grading policies, batch assignments, or question paper correctness.
In no event shall GyanRank's aggregate liability exceed the total subscription fees paid by the institute in the three (3) months preceding the incident.

Section 6

Account Termination & Governing Law

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts found violating these terms, committing digital fraud, or abusing platform resources.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bihar, India.
